McGinty & O’Shea Ltd. recently commenced work on the above project valued at c.€5.5million. The project primarily consists of the construction of flood defence works in the busy Cork City suburb of Douglas for client Cork City Council and includes the construction of new reinforced and precast concrete flood defence walls, reconstruction of existing bridges, new reinforced concrete culverts, drainage and utility diversions, hard and soft landscaping and other associated works and will take approx. 19 months to complete.
