This contract involved the vertical and horizontal realignment of approximately 1.5km of existing national carriageway including the widening of an existing single span masonry bridge with the addition of a single span precast beam structure supported on new CFA pile reinforced concrete abutments. Associated works included bulk excavation, tree felling, installation of associated drainage and services, fencing and crash barriers and the construction of >23,000sq.m of new carriageway.
